So I've come to the conclusion LJ and I just don't get along. We should remedy that really... Perhaps a new layout will help!? Highly likely not though.

I saw Marley and Me yesterday. That was probably a mistake. I cried several times during the movie then for a last 40 MINUTES (no lie!) because I knew what was coming. Man I'm traumatised and I don't even like dogs. I don't think I ever want to see another dog again.

I'm in love with Kings of Leon Use Somebody, I'm also worringly obsessed with Hollyoaks. What happens when you combine the two is a thing of beauty!

Where does the time go!? It's 2 weeks since I last posted which is madness because everyday something seems to happen and I think 'oh I'll have to mention that in my LJ' but then I totally forget to post. It's really annoying because there's lots of things I'd like to remember but will probably forget now.

I got voted 'Employee of the Quarter' at work. I'm pleased for a few reasons: firstly, I think I deserve it, I work my butt off and I don't think I should be overlooked for things like that just because I only work 2 days a week. The main reason I'm so happy is because it's everyone else at work who has to vote, so guess I've won a popularity contest. Haha! I get a new hat which is different color from our normal hats (navy instead of burnt orange) and about 100x better quality. How sad am I getting all excited about a new hat!?

I also got £20 of shopping vouchers which took me about 30 minutes to spend! I got 2 pairs of new shoes; some gorgeous silver pumps and some white flip-flops. They're not actually flip-flops but I can't think of any other way to describe them. I also bought a bunch of new tops because my wardrobe didn't feel very summery right now.

English Coursework? Check.
Film Essay? Check.
History Journal? Check.

YAY! I'm free!! (Sort of.) I still have to do my film project but that can wait 'til next week. Now it's time for some well deserved me time.

So I wrote my history essay in a day. It's probably the worst thing I've ever written; I handed it in today without even proof reading it I just wanted it out of the way.

I don't have any more coursework due until Week 10 although I do have a group presentation in 2 weeks. I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day bumming around and might give my history class a miss tomorrow because I can't be bothered doing the reading for it.

Tottenham Hotspur are Carling Cup Winners!

Everytime I look at the pictures from yesterday I noticed something different; Paul happier than I’ve ever seen him wearing his medal proudly around his neck, Chimba and Zok dancing like loons, Kaboul in a crazy hat, little Teemu a true Spur relishing every second, JJ and Keano crying tears of joy, Berba our God, Steed who never gives up, the reborn Hudd, little Aaron running around with a scarf tied around his head, our wonderful returning captain Ledley, Alan who has only been with us for three weeks but looks like he’s been a Spur all his life, Radek, Darren, Lee, the Prince and Jamie being as delighted as everyone else even though they missed out on a place in the team, my beautiful Gareth getting so excited he lost one of his crutches, Ricardo and Adel the almost forgotten men but you would never have known it, my injured Mikey, Gilba who is yet to make his debut but enjoyed the fun all the same and last but not least my Woody.

Kian and Jodi's interview in OK celebrating their engagement was one of the most beautiful things I have ever read. I am so, so happy for them.



Jodi is just adorable. I used to think that she was way too perfect for Kian but now I know they're perfect for each other. I hope they grow old together.

My sister has got an interview for a place at uni to do a teaching degree.

It is really difficult to even get this far with your application so this is cool. It's at Glasgow Uni which is pretty exciting too! She's not very academic and her grades aren't all that hot but she's done a lot of voluntary work at a school which obviously looked good on her application. I'm really pleased for her. Hopefully it goes well.

History was hilarious today. My friend's group had to do their presentation today and they gave sweets and stickers to anyone who answered their questions. I got a smiley face.

Didn't I say I was going to try and keep on top of work better this term? Didn't I?! Well I lied and now I have EVERYTHING to do. Oh what fun.

It's half time in the Carling Cup semi-final and we are winning 2-0. This feels amazing!  No matter what happens tonight I will always remember this feeling.
